That's an interesting idea. I agree that seeing more context would be more motivating to some people. It would give you a sense that your ideas/questions/etc are going into a "place" or series of conversations. I'll give this some more thought and will also share it with the rest of the product team.

You're right. This is something that would only take a few adjustments and it is embarrassing that we haven't yet fixed this. We're not proud of this fact, but we're a tiny team and we've been pulled in a lot of different directions recently. Thanks, Kray. You will probably notice some pricing and package shifts in the near future. We probably won't be able to get the a la carte options in right away. But I want you to know that we are seriously considering this even if we can't implement that short term. :)
Also, since we're talking about pricing, I'm curious to know how much you would expect a la carte features to be - and how much you would expect a "Host your own" service to be. If you don't feel comfortable answering this, I completely understand. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can about customer's expectations around pricing - even though it's a little bit of a sensitive subject.

We're in the process of reconsidering our plans and pricing options so this is a great time to bring this to our attention. Many others, like you, would like to be able to purchase features on an a la carte basis. And your "Host Our Own" idea is really creative. I'll be sure to bring this to the attention of the team in charge of making the pricing decisions. Thanks again for your feedback.

Thanks so much for sharing this idea. I think it's very interesting and I share your desire for simpler pages. We are constantly working to simplify and streamline the product, but as a small team with many pressures it is sometimes hard to prioritize that.
I'm curious though, are there any features other than standard posting that you find useful to your company?

I just wanted to chime in and say thank you for sharing your usability and design feedback with us. I'm excited that our new home page (which we hope to roll out this evening) is focused entirely on companies and organizations who want to use our service. I think it creates a much cleaner experience and hopefully it will clear up some of the issues that you pointed out in your first post.
As Amy mentioned, we'd love to hear your comments once the new page is live.
