BBQ sauce on silk!

I'm a mess (and should have grabbed more napkins). Anyhow, how can I get BBQ sauce out of silk?

First of all if the stain is still pretty fresh I would try Tide to Go.

If you are at home and trying to remove the stain in the wash, the stain solutions advice is:

Always make sure you protect colored items by pretesting the effects of stain removal techniques on a hidden area of the garment.

    1) If the stain is fresh, scoop off excess. If the stain is dried or old, scrape or brush off crusted matter, if there is any.

    2) Rub Ivory Snow® Liquid into stain. Then rinse thoroughly in cool water.

    3) Using a plastic bucket, create a soak solution by adding 1/2 dose Ivory Snow® Liquid per gallon of water. Allow the garment to soak for up to 30 minutes, weighting the item with a white towel to keep it totally submerged. Discard your soak solution appropriately when you're finished.

    4) Wash in gentle cycle with warmest water safe for the fabric with 1 dose of Ivory Snow®.

    5) Inspect garment. If the stain remains, repeat the procedure as necessary.

Before treating any garment, always first refer to the instructions on the care label.

You could also try adding Tide Stain Release as a booster to your wash.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks,
    Mandy
