bewiltered on how 2 times ultra tide should really perform
2times ultra tide for HE machines. What in the world does that mean? I just read an article on going green and they discourage adding extra products to cleanser. I agree your product should remove everyday dirt without additional additives. I have rewashed items due to dirty socks/deodorant marks/and table cloth stains etc. I have a new HE washer and really do not notice any less spending on detergent. Why is it necessary to have additional stain removal products? Maybe people should just by the stain removers and stop buying the detergent. The article suggests cold water for all loads. How do you think your product works in cold water?

Inappropriate?Hi Tena,
About 18months ago we compacted all of our Tide detergents by 2x - so '2x Ultra Tide' simply means it is 2 x concentrated vs the previous Tide.
You can certainly save energy and money by washing in cold. Tide Coldwater HE was just launched in July and gives you great cleaning and stain removal at lower temperatures. I would encourage you to try that product if you want to switch to cold. A number of people have reviewed it on Tide.com and like it very much.
Thanks,
Mandy
