How stupid do you think we are???
100 oz 64 load jug of Tide skyrocketed by $4.00 a jug. Plus have you notice the cap is larger. Spend more, use more!!! Tide we're through!!!!

Inappropriate?I am too, as an unemployed worker for the last year now, i just cant afford to buy a lot of these overpriced cleaning products. sorry tide but i think i have bought my last jug of your product.
I’m frustrated and mad

Inappropriate?Kelly - i'm sorry to hear this. Just so you know, the new cap is actually a direct response to some customer feedback. We heard that the old smaller cap was hard to unscrew and it was difficult to read the dosing lines. The new cap is larger and therefore easier to remove, the dosing lines are easier to see but at the same level as they were on the old cap.

Thank you Mandy for bringing that to my attention. I should have examined the cap a little better, before complaining! -
Inappropriate?I would like to see refill product in packages where it would be less $4, those jugs must be the biggest expense of the product.

Inappropriate?Cap measure markings still need to be easier to read - perhaps a dark colored line on the inside or outside... I know that would add to the cost in tooling the lids - but it would definitely be more consumer and environmentally friendly to really encourage people to use the right small amount - which is a lot smaller than we're used to in the past.

Inappropriate? If you had not noticed...everything has gone up in price, not just Tide. Food is up...gasoline is up..everything has gone up in price. Do what everyone else does.....clip coupons and buy the Tide when it's on sale with the coupons. It's not rocket science, so stop whining. If that is too much trouble then it's not the Tide that's to blame..it's your own laziness.

I forgot to mention that it is a good idea to look up the taxes for your state, county, and city. Some areas apply special shipping and handling taxes. Some apply special taxes on businesses. Those taxes are reflected in a retailers sale price. They are called hidden taxes and can raise the price of a product significantly.
For example, you canget Tide in Tennessee for a few dollars less than you could in New York. The difference is reflecting in the cost of shipping and hidden taxes. On top of that, some stores just like to charge more for the profits.
I think it is really unfair to blame a manufacturer for a specific areas economic set up.
