Tide HE causing a bad rash
I've used tide 'forever', only detergent that cleans without fail, never had a problem. However, two weeks ago my fiance brought home brand new Bosch front loader washer and dryer...beautiful. Went right out and bought Tide HE, got started right away laundering every thing in sight using the new detergent according to the directions. Suddenly my fiance has broken out in ichy irritating rashes all over his body. He was also brought up on Tide without problems previously. After giving him some benedryl and cortisone cream we have concluded the switch from regular Tide to the HE is the cause of his rash... I am not willing to switch to another brand knowing my laundry will no longer be nice and clean like Tide and wonder if Tide Free HE will solve the rashes and keep me in laundry heaven. Anyone out there have the same experience and what they have tried, please help-

Inappropriate?Hi Denise - i'm sorry to hear this. I would recommend calling our consumer help line on 1-800-879-8433 for help.
Tide Free for HE is worth a try, it is free of dyes and perfumes and dermatologist tested so hopefully it will do the trick!
Thanks,

Did your boyfriend break out immediately after you used the Tide HE? I was not using HE but the regular detergent called Clear Breeze. -
Inappropriate?Yes, I believe I have the same problem . Just started using Tide HE with bleach last week. After wearing the clothes I broke out in rash from head to toe. The worst was on my ankles and feet where the clothing is closeset to the skin. Saw a doctor who prescribed Prednisone. Only just happened and waiting for Prenisone to start working.

Inappropriate?I am havinig the same reaction. Purchased Tide HE @ Costco few weeks ago and started getting a rash when wearing the newly washed clothes. It seems acts like the allergic reaction I get if I wear nickel. Going to the store to purchase replacement detergent.

Inappropriate?Have you tried the HE Tide Free yet? I just posted an inquiry that is mild enough for my babys' clothes.
